What is Ethical Non-Monogamy?
By TeamPMM on Thursday May 15, 2014

While there are a number of viewpoints on the subject, we here at PolyMatchMaker define “Ethical Non-Monogamy” as “an ethical state of being to where a person has honest open communicative relationships, at various emotional and intimate levels, with all partners involved, including oneself”.

Though the description may be a bit wordy, “Ethical Non-Monogamy”, sometimes referred to as “Responsible Non-Monogamy” is the point of being truly honest to partner's about levels of feelings, emotional attachment, intimate and/or sexual attraction, and/or desire for other and/or multiple people.

“Responsible Non-Monogamy” has had some definitions attached to it that fall within a purely sexual tone as in making sure to be sexually responsible with all partners.

PolyMatchMaker supports Ethical Non-Monogamy and Responsible Non-Monogamy and various Non-Monogamists who are open about partnerships to all of their partners. Our membership community is interested in dating, long and short term partnerships, and everything in between.
