Using the Site I've forgotten my user name and password, could you send it to me? Go to PMM's home page. On the left hand navigation, under the log in box, is the sentence: "Forgot your password?" Click on this link and you will be taken to a Login/Password Lookup page. Simply type in your e-mail address and your info will be sent to you. How do I add a member to my list of favorites? Bring up that members profile and in the left hand column you will find a section for adding that member to your favorites list, as well as the ability to add a note about them as well. How do I remove a member from my list of favorites? Bring up that members profile, you can remove them from your list of favorites via the favorites section on their profile. What's the difference between linking a member and a favorite? Adding someone to your Favorites adds them to your profile in a way that only YOU, as the person who added them, can see. (as well as any notes you may have added about them) You can see your list of favorites when you go into your My Account page, but nobody else can see this list. It's a method for people to "jot down" who they might want to converse with or read more about later. The "Link" feature is a public link. Anyone who goes to your profile will see everyone that you've added a link to. This is intended as a way for friends/families/tribes/etc. to indicate who else is in their sphere. It usually a good practice to include in your Bio how these people are related to you. Managing Your Profile How do I change my PMM password? Log into your profile, select My Account, select Edit Profile and type in a new password. Make sure to click Save. How do I link another member to my profile? In order to link a member on your profile you simply need to enclose the user name inside of [user] their name [/user] tags within the text box fields of your member profile. How do I remove a member linked on my profile? Simply remove the tags and the user name. How do I upload a photo to my account? Go your My Account page. Click on Edit/Upload Photo. Click on Browse to search your hard drive for the image you want to upload. Click Upload. Your photo should appear to the right with the statement "Image awaiting approval". Once approved your image will show up on your profile. Why does my photo keep getting rejected? This could happen for a few reasons.... 1) The image is too big. All images must be under 50k in file size. 2) The image is the wrong file format. We only accept images saved as .jpg or .gif. 3) The image had nudity or was way too sexual for our site. We do have certain standards. 4) The image was too large size wise. Some photos are too wide to be viewed correctly in the profile. Keep it under 350 pixels wide if possible. I made a mistake and entered the wrong user name when I set up my account, can I change it? Contact us to request it changed. How do I remove my account from PMM? Login, click on My Account. On your My Accout page there is an option to remove your profile. Subscriptions How do I set up an auto subscription for PMM? On the left hand navigation there is a link to our Upgrade Membership page. While on this page you will be able to set up an automatic subsciption through PayPal. How do I cancel my subscription? On the left hand navigation there is a link to our Upgrade Membership page. While on this page you will be able to set up an automatic subsciption through PayPal which will be linked to your PMM profile. NOTE: Canceling your subscription does not remove your profile from PMM nor does removing your profile from PMM cancel your subscription. Forums Are there any guidelines for the forums? Yes. Forum Guidelines Site Issues I can't view any of my mails or see any profiles on the site, they are just blank when I try. Why? In your browser: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Set it to accept cookies from http://www.polymatchmaker.com I was replying to a message on your web site and when I hit the submit button it told me I had to log back in. Why? And was my message sent? Our site times-out after two hours if you have not clicked any links. No, your message was not sent. We suggest that if you are going to write a lengthy reply to a member that you compose it off site (TextPad, Notepad, Word, etc.) and then copy/paste it. This way you will get time to think about your answer and even spell check it. ;) If luck is with you, if you hit the Back button on your browser, your text will still be there. You will still have to copy it and re-log back in to submit your message, but it might save you from re-typing the whole message. Just don't count on this to work. Member Issues One of your members has sent me rude and/or suggestive messages. What should I do? Report this member to us via the Contact Us form. Please include the text of the offensive message and the users name. While searching your member database I came across a profile that seemed to indicate that the person was just looking for a discreet affair. Is this allowed on PMM? No. Report this member to us via the Contact Us form. I'm receiving messages from someone on your site that I would rather not get messages from, what can I do? Bring up that members profile and select Block this Member. You will no longer receive messages from this user. They will not be aware of this block so they will not have reason to harass you elsewhere.

Site Issues

I can't view any of my mails or see any profiles on the site, they are just blank when I try. Why?

In your browser: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Set it to accept cookies from http://www.polymatchmaker.com

I was replying to a message on your web site and when I hit the submit button it told me I had to log back in. Why? And was my message sent?

Our site times-out after two hours if you have not clicked any links. No, your message was not sent.
